Le dimore della Baronessa

The Dimore della Baronessa is an ancient structure dating back to 1470, part of the historic noble palace once belonging to the Tuscan baronial Tolomei family, who received the Salentine town of Racale as a fief. Under the guidance of Baroness Porzia, the town of Racale experienced a period of splendor and prominence in Salento.

The structure has regained its ancient charm after careful restoration work, which recovered the old floors, Byzantine-era fireplaces, and other stone details. The Courtyard rests on one side of the baronial castle, which later passed to the "Basurto" feudal lords of Racale, in the historic center, offering the possibility to stay in comfortable and spacious rooms equipped with all amenities.

Le Dimore is developed on two floors: a ground floor and a first floor, each hosting a holiday home where you can live your experience. Each floor consists of a two-room apartment plus an independent double bedroom, both with independent entrances.

The structure is furnished with period furniture, resulting from careful research. The two-room apartments, in addition to the double bedroom, have a living area equipped with a double sofa bed and a small kitchenette, and a bathroom with a shower. The double bedroom, just a few steps from the two-room apartment, is equipped with an en-suite bathroom and is not connected to the two-room apartment. This solution is therefore perfect for a family or couples of friends who desire the privacy of the sleeping area.

All rooms have a private bathroom with a shower, a wardrobe, a desk, air conditioning and heating, an LCD TV, and a mini-fridge. The residences are located 50 meters from 2 restaurants, 600 meters from a supermarket, and a 20-minute drive from the beaches of Gallipoli and Torre San Giovanni.

Le Dimore della Baronessa is about 4 km from the sea (Marina di Torre Suda), and about 10 km from the sandy beaches of the Gallipoli shores. Recommended for families and couples of friends.

Check-out time: from 8 am to 11 am

For check-in and check-out outside the indicated hours, upon request and subject to acceptance, an additional fee is required:

for check-in after 8:30 pm and until 10 pm an extra cost of 30 euros;
for check-in from 10 pm to midnight an extra cost of 50 euros;
for check-in from midnight to 7 am an extra cost of 100 euros.
For early check-ins, upon request and subject to acceptance, an extra cost of 30 euros is required.
For early morning check-outs, upon request and subject to acceptance, an extra cost of 30 euros is required.
